**As of February 5th, this project has been awarded to $1,672,174.** Work consists of the furnishing and installing of approximately 7,600 linear feet of eight-inch diameter ductile iron water main and associated valves, fittings, hydrants, services, appurtenances, and surface restoration. The water main and appurtenances shall be provided in Whitman Road from the intersection with Quisset Ave. to Gardiner Rd., Mast Rd. from Whitman Rd. to Clapp Rd., Brooks Rd. from Whitman Rd. to Clapp Rd., Jewel Cobb Rd. from Whitman Rd. to Clapp Rd., Hyatt Rd. from Quisset Ave. to Whitman Rd., Gardiner Rd. from Whitman Rd. to Gansett Rd., and Gansett Rd. from House No. 61 Gansett Rd. to the end of Gansett Road. All work within Town-owned roadways shall be conducted between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required. Minimum Wage rates as determined by the Commissioner of the Department of Labor Standards under the provision of the M.G.L. c. 149, 26 to 27H as amended, apply to this project.
