Site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Falmouth, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade multi-residential development.
The Town of Falmouth seeks proposals from qualified developers to develop affordable dwellings, either attached, detached, or a mix, on two contiguous parcels of land at 0 West Falmouth Highway. The combined area consists of approximately 2.81 acres. The selected developer will be expected to demonstrate experience and capacity in developing affordable housing that addresses the needs and goals of the Town. Proposers or their teams must have a history of successful affordable housing development and management, including familiarity with programs providing affordability subsidies and services. The property will be transferred in "as is" condition, with title conveyed in fee simple. All improvements constructed will belong to the developer's ownership entity. The developer must comply with all applicable state and federal laws in accepting and developing the land. The Town Manager serves as the Awarding Authority and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, make waivers as allowed by law, and make awards in the Town's best interest. Proposals must be valid for at least 90 days after submission. The Town may cancel the request, in whole or in part, or extend the proposal due date if deemed necessary.
