Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in North Charleston, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

In accordance with FAR 52.216-1 this acquisition will result in the award of a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Design-Bid-Build (DBB) task order for the construction of a test and evaluation platform at JB Charleston, SC, with a clear span high bay tension structure, rigid steel/aluminum frame, vinyl coated polyester fabric shell and reinforced concrete slab-on-grade with spread footings. The project includes an open work space, storage space, work benches, a prefabricated office space, roll-up doors, man doors, fire suppression systems, ventilation, a split-system ductless heating and cooling unit for the office, electrical distribution and lighting, communication systems, fire alarm systems, and all related work. Built-in equipment includes a bridge crane, systems furniture and work benches. This project will include all inspection, investigation, design and construction services, materials, equipment, tools, labor, supervision, processes and procedures necessary for indicated work. Prevailing Wages Apply. Contract duration = 560 calendar days
