Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The Town of Leicester is seeking bids to for the purchase and installation of a two-story lift in the Borger Building, 9 Washburn Square, Leicester, MA 01524. Work consists of delivery and installation of a two-story lift in the main lobby of the building. The Towns goal is for substantial completion of the lift by 11/3/25. The contractor shall provide all equipment necessary for delivery and installation of the lift and shall be responsible to keep the site clean and orderly, with all debris removed daily. The Town shall work with the vendor to supply the required powered to the lift, through its own contractors. The selected contractor will be required produce a certificate of insurance naming the Town as an additional insured party. All work being performed requires a 50% payment bond in accordance with M.G.L. c. 149, 29. A bid deposit of 5% of the Contractors bid price must be included with the bid. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive minor informalities in the bids, or to accept the bid deemed best for the Town.
