Work Description: The Work Under This Contract Includes Installing Approximately 2,900 Linear Feet of New 8-inch Ductile Iron Waterline and 700 Linear Feet of New 12-inch Ductile Iron Waterline to Replace the Existing Undersized Waterlines in the Project Area. The Project Area Includes Ewald Avenue S From Liberty to Tulare, Tulare Avenue S From Ewald to Charles, Kotzy Avenue S From Tulare to Its Termination, and Charles Avenue S From Tulare to Liberty. This Work Also Includes Installing Fire Hydrants, New Service Connections, and All Necessary Appurtenances for Waterline Installation. Additionally, the Project Will Require Associated Asphalt Concrete Pavement, Portland Cement Sidewalks, Curbs, Driveways, Aggregate Shoulders, and Restoration of Existing Surfaces. Pre-bid Conference: No Pre-bid Conference Will Be Held. Bid Security in the Amount of 10 Percent of the Bid Must Accompany Each Bid in Accordance With the Instructions to Bidders. Award: The City of Salem (""City"") Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, to Waive Informalities, and to Postpone the Award of the Contract for Thirty (30) Days.
