Demolition, site work and addition to a military facility in Westmorland, California. Completed plans call for the addition of a military facility; for the demolition of a military facility; and for site work for a military facility.

The project involves the expansion of the Highway 86 Check Point Shelter Structure in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. The contractor shall provide construction services as outlined in the following documents: Attachment 1 - Statement of Work, Attachment 2 - Construction Price Proposal Form, and Attachment 3 - Wage Determination CA202500002 for Imperial County dated 08/22/2025. The estimated price range for the construction is between $200,000 and $300,000, as defined under FAR 36.204. It is the intent that Indio Station procure contractor service to expand the existing shelter structure at the Highway 86 Checkpoint to fully include the existing temporary detention area and the secondary inspection area by acquiring the following services described below: A. Preparation of ground as needed, including demo and dispose of any existing concrete or gravel and level ground, grade, and compact dirt bottom B. Concrete: Install concrete footings, according to structure specification to support new structure, and 100-mile winds. C. Also, the lights locate it at the end of the existing canopy structure on both sides, the Contractor must relocate it to the front of the new addition structure. D. Metal Covering: Install a prefabricated metal covering and structure to match the existing covering and structure, with approximate dimensions of 30'x80'x30'. The installed covering structure will be tied into the existing canopy structure. E. Side Wall Improvements: Add wall coverings to cover pre-primary, extending coverings to the roof at an angle and add additional coverings to the west and east walls of the newly expanded structure, mirroring existing wall coverings on the existing structure. F. Painting: Paint any part of the newly installed structure as needed to match existing structure. G. The Contractor will need to attend a site visit to gather any other information they might need to complete final proposal to be submitted to the Contracting Officer. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
