**As of August 12, 2025, the project was awarded to Jack B. Harper Electrical, LLC, with an awarded amount of $1,178,743.84.** Emergency Repair of Traffic Signal System-post Disaster NO BID BOND REQUIRED. Bidder must submit Bid Security in the form of bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check in the amount of 5% of the contract price in favor of the City of Kenner. If submitting Bid electronically, a bid bond is the only acceptable form of bid security. The Bid Security shall be forfeited to the Owner if the Bid is accepted and the Bidder should fail to enter into an Agreement. Contractor will provide post disaster emergency repair of traffic signal systems. All work shall meet or exceed all local, state, federal, and manufacturer's codes and guidelines. Payment and performance bonds will NOT be required The Contractor shall furnish and install replacements for missing or damaged signal heads resulting from a natural disaster or state of emergency. This shall include, but not be limited to all incidental equipment required for mounting traffic signal heads on mast arms, span wires, pedestals, and pole shafts. If the City of Kenner Traffic Division can supply comparable signal heads, the contractor shall order replacements for the units used and deliver the replacements to the City of Kenner upon their arrival. Each damaged signal head shall be carefully removed and returned to the City of Kenner Traffic Department for salvage.
