Site work for a transportation facility in Safford, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
First, Contractor must hire an Engineer to complete and provide construction Drawings from the City-provided preliminary plans. Secondly, the Contractor must then provide all necessary materials, equipment, labor, and services needed for construction to complete the Work per the construction Drawings and Contract Documents (See Bid Documents for detailed information). Question Deadline 08/14/2025 Contact information and submittal procedures for such questions are as follows: A. Jace Elkins, PE, City of Safford, jelkins@saffordaz.gov. Only written questions will be addressed. Questions received less than seven (7) days prior to the date of opening of Bids may not be answered. Construction will take place within the Safford Airport at 4570 E. Aviation Way, Safford, AZ 85546. Council approval of award is expected September 9, 2025, and the Project is expected to take 230 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. All Bids must include a bid bond for 10% of the total Bid amount including all alternates, and all Bids must be plainly marked on the outermost packaging The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or to withhold the award for any reason the City determines. The City also reserves its right to hold any or all Bids for sixty (60) days after the Bid opening date and will not allow withdrawal of Bids during those sixty (60) days.
