The City of Safford (City) Hereby Invites the Submission of Sealed Bids From Properly Licensed Contractors to Construct a Commercial Hangar With Living Quarters. Construction Will Take Place Within the Safford Airport at 4570 E. Aviation Way, Safford, Az 85546. Council Approval of Award is Expected in April, With a May 4th Start Date for Construction. Substantial Completion for This Project is Expected to Take 230 Calendar Days From the Issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The City Also Reserves Its Right to Hold Any or All Bids for Sixty (60) Days After the Bid Opening Date and Will Not Allow Withdrawal of Bids During Those Sixty (60) Days. All Bids Must Include a Bid Bond for 10% of the Total Bid Amount Including All Alternates, and All Bids Must Be Plainly Marked on the Outermost Packaging With Last Day for Questions: Wednesday, March 18,2026, by 2:00 PM Local Time Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Owner's Engineer in writing.
