Site work and paving for a civil project in Panama City, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
**As of September 04, 2025, the project was awarded to 850-Construction, with an awarded amount of $1,460,482.72** DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The purpose of this project is to provide paving and storm drainage for an under-developed area of PCPAs West Terminal. Project Overview: 1. Approximately 55,000 square feet of paving construction consisting of subbase, base, and paving system. Refer to the plans for actual quantities. 2. Minor demolition, clearing and grubbing. 3. Grading 4. Storm Drains 5. Utility Adjustments Guarantee will be required with each bid as follows: At least 5% of the amount of bid in the form of a certified check or bid bond payable to the Panama City Port Authority, Port Panama City, Florida. Bids, accompanied by the Public Entity Crime Statement and by a Bid Bond, and Tax Savings Agreement must be submitted upon the standard forms included in the Contract Documents. Also, please include the unit price for any components identified on the form; these prices will be used in negotiating additions or deletions in the contract amount. The Port reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts of bids to waive any and all bid informalities and to award the bid determined to be in the best interest of the Port. In addition to the discretionary powers vested in the Port, and not in lieu thereof, the Port reserves the right to reject a bid based on the absence of adequate budgetary allowances for the Project. The Port reserves the right to negotiate the terms of the Contract, including pricing and changes to the Plans and Specifications, with the lowest and best bidder. Should negotiations with the lowest and best bidder fail to result in a contract, the lowest and best bidder may be deemed disqualified and the Port may enter into negotiations with the next lowest bidder. This process may continue until negotiations with all bidders fail or a contract is achieved. The Port reserves the right to accept the lowest and best bid for a period of up to ninety (90) days.
