Site work for a water / sewer project in Red Wing, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Major components of the Work include: A. Site grading to contract drawing Intermediate Cover elevations. B. Installation of 12" Barrier Layer C. Installation of general soils rooting zone layer with 6-inch vegetated topsoil cover. D. Cultivation of existing topsoil over the Closed Phase A and Closed Phase 1 areas and re-planting of turf. E. Excavation of silty soil sediment and remediation of existing sedimentation basin. F. General site grading. G. Stormwater and erosion control management A pre-Bid conference will not be held for this Project. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. A Contractor responding to these Bidding Documents must submit to the City/Owner a signed statement under oath by an owner or officer verifying compliance with each of the minimum criteria in Minnesota Statutes, section 16C.285, subdivision 3. Question Deadline 07/18/2025 Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Submit questions to Trevor Romanko at tromanko@sehinc.com. The County reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the County.
