Site work for a mixed-use development in Shilo, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.
This project consists of design, procurement and installation of a playground system including fall zone material at 25 Thomas Street, Sprucewoods, in the Rural Municipality of Cornwallis, Manitoba. The work is to include the design of a play system within the play area boundaries, as well as ground preparation and landscaping, and installation of commercial playground equipment, equipment footings, drainage materials, landing mats, fall zone material (if required in the design). The dimensions of the parcel of land are: 90 feet wide (east towest) x 160 feet (north tosouth). The proposed playground is a permitted use under the R.M. of Cornwallis Zoning By-Law. Setbacks are as follows: Front: (South end of parcel) 30 feet; Sides: 15 feet; Rear: 15 feet. The Keystone Planning District Development Officer can approve minor variances of 10%. A copy of a land survey is included for your reference. It is important that the design of the play system includes the ability to expand the proposed play system within the existing play area.
