As of July 30, 2025, the project was awarded to Builder Paving LLC, with an awarded amount of $2,342,691.55. The Village of Niles is Accepting Bid Proposals for the: 2025 Street Improvement Program The scope of work consists of street improvements at various locations throughout the Village of Niles. There is a Base Bid amount and an Alternate 1 Bid amount. Alternate 1 is for Gross Point Road from Croname to Lehigh Avenue. The contract will be awarded based on the analysis of the base bid unit and total prices. The alternate will be awarded if applicable and will be included in the bid review process. Additional Description: A current Illinois Department of Transportation Certificate of Eligibility for categories 003 (Hot-Mix Asphalt (HMA) Plant Mix) or 005 (HMA Paving); as well as 032 (Cold Milling, Planing and Rotomilling) must be submitted to Susan Bus at slb@vniles.com. MUST COMPLY WITH AMENDED ILLINOIS PREVAILING WAGE ACT, 820 ILCS 130/.01 et seq. MUST COMPLY WITH EMPLOYMENT OF ILLINOIS WORKERS ON PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 30 ILCS 570/0.01 et seq. Pre-Qualification: Yes The Village Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any or All Proposals, to Waive Informalities or Technicalities in Any Proposal, and to Accept the Proposal Which It Deems to Be in the Best Interests of the Village.
