material shall meet or exceed State of Vermont/AASHTO specifications. The Town is seeking prices for both a delivered price (to town pit on Route 12A) and at vendor's pit. The winter sand shall be clean, screened, uniformly graded from coarse to fine, and free from silt, loam, clay and organic matter. The sand shall be obtained from approved sources and meet or exceed the following requirements, including PH test: The material will be sampled and tested by the Highway Foreman (the Town reserves the right to test the product at anytime). Measurements shall be by truck measure. The Town reserves the right to purchase any product from other than the accepted bidder. Additional information regarding the process may be obtained by the contacting the Town Manager at 485-9822. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
