A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** RFI Due Date:6/30/2025 @ 14:00 CT The work to be done consists of furnishing all labor (Davis-Bacon Act General Wage Rate Decision Number: AR20250046 dated 01/03/2025), materials, equipment, supervision of your work and insurances, and performing all work in strict accordance with the Contract Bid Documents for a New Aeration System (Phase 2) at the Norfork National Fish Hatchery (NFH). This project will involve the construction of water lines and pipe support structures to enable the installation of an aspirating degasser system. The work in this project includes the trades listed in the table below by CSI Divisions. This project consists of renovations to existing Norfork Hatchery Building and Raceways as described herein. The work consists of replacement of existing oxygenation systems for both the exterior raceways and the interior raceways located in the hatchery building incubator room. Exterior work consists of bypassing and replacement with new "packed column" oxygenation system complete. The hatchery building working consist of removal of existing oxygenation system and replacement with new "packed column" oxygenation system. No work that would cause a water outage is to be done during the months of September through December. The Phase 2 scope of work involves the construction of water lines and pipe support structures to enable the installation of an aspirating degasser system, provided by the U.S. Department of Interior (DOI). The aeration columns (degassers) will be installed at three critical locations within the hatchery: the outside raceways, the main hatchery raceways, and the egg room. The purpose of this system is to improve water quality by removing excess gases, ensuring optimal conditions for fish health and survival. The Contractor will be responsible for all necessary civil and mechanical work to support the system, including construction of piping, supports, and connections to existing infrastructure. Upon completion, the system must be fully operational and integrated to meet DOI performance standards. The Contractor is required to perform field investigations as needed to evaluate and document the existing site conditions. The work entails the construction of building components and associated utilities, in addition to procuring and supplying all necessary materials, equipment, services, and labor as reasonably inferred from the Statement of Work. The Contractor is obliged to verify all quantities and measurements. Construction of the new oxygenation system to install aspirating degassers in according to the provided drawings and specifications. The project involves pipe installation to by-pass existing aeration buildings. The installation of FWS provide Aspirating degasser units at outside raceways and hatchery and egg room.
