The project is expected to be awarded on August 21, 2025.** The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, technical personnel, labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and services, including utility and transportation services that are such an inseparable part of the work described that exclusion would render performance by Contractor impractical, illogical, or unconscionable. Furthermore, Contractor shall perform and complete all work required for the construction of the Improvements embraced in the Project; namely, Wimberley Square Paving and required supplemental work, all in strict accordance with the contract documents including all addenda thereto (hereinafter referred to as the Work). All Work shall be performed in a good and workmanlike manner according to industry standards. The parties agree that the Statement of Work and the addenda to this Contract is a description of Contractor's obligations and responsibilities and is deemed to include preliminary considerations and prerequisites. instructions outlined in the solicitation are not clear or are contradictory, any interested firm may in writing request clarification from Ryan Bell, P.E., no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday July 10, 2025. City of Wimberley 2025 Roadway Maintenance Project - Phase 2 (#MAINT-2025-02) generally includes: 7,702 square yards of 3" asphalt mill & overlay, 1,539 square yards of spot pavement repairs, and pavement markings. Bids must be submitted on City of Wimberley bid forms and must be accompanied by an acceptable bid security in the form of a cashier's check or bid bond, payable to the City of Wimberley, Texas, equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. The successful Bidder must furnish a performance bond and payment bond on the forms provided, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, from a surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety. The City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and any nonconforming Bid and to award the Contract in a period of time not exceeding 60 days from the Bid opening date. Bids shall remain firm for that period.
