Award: Trade on Demand, Inc for $92,604.70 Scope of Services to be Performed The required services to be provided are for the new installation of an air-cooled water chiller at the Lubbock State Supported Living Center bldg. 504. The Contractor shall replace the old chiller with new chiller. The Contractor shall undo all electrical, unhook controls, and disconnect the water lines to the chiller. The Contractor shall remove the old chiller and dispose of it properly. The Contractor shall install new chiller, repipe chill water lines, insulate, hook up controls, and turn it on and ensure that everything is operating properly. The Contractor shall be responsible for taking field measurements prior to starting work. The Contractor shall include all materials, quantities, devices, equipment, and labor to provide a working system, complete in all respects integrated into the building and connected to the Facility's campus. Contractor shall be responsible for any repair of surfaces that may be damaged because of the installation of the systems, equipment or devices. This repair shall match the existing surrounding surfaces and provide a seamless transition. The Contractor shall provide all cutting, patching, and structural support as required for a complete and operating system. All surface cuts shall be patched to provide a seamless transition to surrounding areas. All wall penetrations shall be sealed in accordance with facility procedures. All openings in rated walls, ceilings and floors associated with new systems installed as part of this contract shall be fire or smoke sealed in accordance with the required rating. All work surfaces/workable areas shall be inspected by the contractor prior to commencing work. Warranty must be included for one year for parts, labor and refrigerant. HHSC will conduct two (2) optional on-site visits at the location specified below on the date and time identified in the Procurement Schedule (cover page of this IFB) or on the date and time established in subsequent Addenda. The on-site visit will include a review of the IFB requirements as well as a walk-through of the facility. Attendance is strongly encouraged, but not required. Failure to attend in person will not disqualify a Bidder.
