As of May 1, 2026, a design-builder has been selected and the project is in pre-construction/negotiated status. Design is expected to be completed in May 2027. Phase I (one residence hall and a pavilion) is scheduled for construction from June 2027 through June 2028, followed by Phase II (one residence hall) from June 2028 through June 2029, with final project completion anticipated in August 2029. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Reference Number 0000392044 Bid Intent Not Available Colorado State University (CSU), is soliciting the submittal of proposals from Design/Build (D/B) Entities to design and construct the project as described herein. The project will include removal of the existing VRF HVAC system with the intent of replacing the HVAC system with a more traditional 4-pipe fan coil system, new HVAC controls, and associated interior, electrical, and structural scopes of work required to replace the existing HVAC system. The project shall also include resident room and bathroom light fixture replacements and associated code-required electrical upgrades (i.e., occupancy sensors, controls, EM lighting, exit signs, etc.) The project will include removal of the existing HVAC system with the intent of replacing the HVAC system with a more traditional 4-pipe fan coil system, new HVAC controls, and associated interior, electrical, and structural scopes of work required to replace the existing HVAC system. For the purposes of the procurement and the associated cost proposal, the anticipated Fixed Limit of Design and Construction (FLODC) has been established at: $37M.
