The new structure will consist of a three-cell concrete box culvert within the existing structure's footprint. The placement of the new structure will also include various related construction activities, e.g., excavation, grading, dewatering, erosion control and stabilization, placement of riprap, fencing, and other miscellaneous items. The structure is located on LCR 45E, off US287 near the Virginia Dale community. All bidders shall be experienced highway contractors and must be experienced in highway bridge construction and in the use of the Colorado Department of Transportation's Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction.
