1. The contractor shall furnish and install all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to repair, resurface, and reline two tennis courts that are approximately 120'x 60' each. Remove all dirt, debris, and vegetation from cracks and surface. Mechanically clean the entire court surface using blowers and pressure washer. Identify and repair all structural and surface cracks using an approved crack repair material. Cracks greater than 1/8" shall be cleaned and a trowel grade or pourable acrylic filler applied. Low areas (bird baths) will need to be patched with an acrylic resurfacer. Apply (1) coat of acrylic resurfacer Apply (2) coats of color coating system. (Color scheme to match our Pangborn Park tennis court, green border and blue court) Materials must be 100% acrylic, Uv-resistant, non-slip, and suitable for tennis and pickleball play. Repaint all standard tennis court lines in white per USTA regulations. Add pickleball court lines in a contrasting color of yellow following USA Pickleball Association guidelines Site Conditions: The courts are both located outdoors with chain-link fencing enclosures. The existing surface is asphalt and shows signs of cracking, fading, delamination and areas that are depressed. The existing courts are laid out as standard tennis courts. Park hours are from Dusk to Dawn. The contractor is responsible for work site safety and protection of their work. The contractor shall provide a lock for tennis court gates and provide the Parks Dept with a key or combination. These should be locked daily. Please keep in mind that this is a Park and is used by residents and visitors daily. Length of Contract: Twenty (20) Working Days is the contract length. Liquidated damages are assessed at $300.00 per calendar day. Schedule: Once the contract is awarded (tentatively August) and executed by both parties, work can begin. All work shall be completed by the end of October 2025. Liquidated damages of $300 per calendar day will be assessed and deducted from final payment for each calendar day beyond working days.
