Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Hagerstown, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 620-square-foot playground / park / athletic field.
Project entails interior demolition, partition construction, electrical rough-in, mechanical rough-in, flooring, painting, and other related work at the Hager House Visitor Center at the Hagerstown City Park. LENGTH OF CONTRACT: Bidder shall propose the number of calendar days required to complete the work on the Bid Form. Both the proposed schedule and the bidder's proposed price will be used to evaluate the bids. Liquidated damages are assessed at $ 1500.00 per day. If any person contemplating submitting a bid for the proposed contract is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part ofthe specifications, or other proposed contract documents, he may submit to the Engineer a written request for interpretation thereof and the reply will be made to all prospective bidders. No interpretations ofthe meaning ofthe Plans, Specifications or other bid documents will be made to any bidder orally. Davis Bacon wage rates apply to this project. BID SURETY: 10% Bid Bond, Cashier's Check or Certified Check to be submitted with the Sealed Proposal. CONTRACT BONDS: The successful Bidder shall submit a 100% Performance Bond and a Labor & Materials Payment Bond upon award of contract. Notice to Proceed will be issued around September 15, 2025. Doc Notes: Contract documents and plans as prepared by Newcomer Associates, which includes Drawings No. 62-251-001 through 62-251-015 and Project Manual set of specifications.
