Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Hagerstown, Maryland. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and transportation facility.
Plans call for a new Washington County Transit Administration and Maintenance Facility for at least 20,000 additional square feet building. The expansion will accommodate administrative offices, maintenance facilities, and increased indoor storage for the growing fleet of buses. The Project is located in Washington County, Maryland, within the city of Hagerstown, approximately one mile from the downtown core of the city. As of August 1, 2025, the Washington County Transit Awarded $2.8 Million in Federal BUILD Grant Funding to Advance Transit Facility Design. The grant, part of nearly $500 million announced by U.S. Secretary of Transportation Sean P. Duffy. Information regarding design firm, construction manager, and general contractor has not been released. Further details regarding construction and completion timelines have not been disclosed.
