Site work for a civil project in De Pere, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.

The project consists of removing and replacing two 83" x 57" corrugated metal pipe arches 52 feet long with two new 83" x 57" by 52 feet long corrugated metal pipe arches. A. Contract "A-2025" 1. Construction of diversion channel 2. Installation of first culvert 3. Moving diversion channel to new culvert 4. Installation of second culvert 5. Rip rap and landscaping 6. Roadway surface A. Work under this section requires the Contractor to provide and maintain temporary and permanent erosion and sediment control. B. The Contractor shall provide erosion and sediment control in accordance with the Erosion Control Plan for the project. C. Dewatering shall be incidental to construction and shall follow WDNR Conservation Practice Standard 1061. D. The Contractor shall install erosion control measures including but not limited to: 1. Silt fence 2. Sediment logs (temp ditch checks) 3. Clear stone bags 4. Sediment traps and basins 5. Temporary seeding 6. Tracking pads 7. Temporary diversion ditches 8. Erosion mat 9. Rip rap 10. Inlet protection A. Work under this section includes: 1. Clearing, cutting and disposal of trees, brush, windfalls, logs, and other vegetation within the construction limits. 2. Removal of stumps, roots, brush stubble, and timber from within the construction limits. A. Work under this section shall include: 1. Site preparation work a. Clearing, grubbing, and disposal b. Stripping and stockpiling topsoil 2. Dewatering 3. Trenching, backfilling, and compacting 4. Obstruction removal 5. Sheeting and bracing 6. Supporting existing structures 7. Disposal of surplus material 8. Restoration A. This section includes constructing a crushed aggregate base for: 1. Roadways 2. Shouldering 3. Parking lots B. Aggregates from recycled material may not be used unless required as part of this project. This section includes the material requirements for aggregates and bituminous materials for utilization in binder and surface course pavements for light and medium duty streets and parking lots. Work under this section shall include: 1. Culvert pipe installation 2. Apron endwall installation 3. Restoration 4. Testing
