Remodeling of a municipal facility in De Pere, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility.
Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the City of De Pere, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute a contract and furnish a contract bond as set forth in the General Conditions of the City of De Pere. In case the bidder fails to file such contract and bond, the amount of the bid bond shall be forfeited to the City of De Pere as liquidated damages. Access to the site is to be coordinated with Tom Blohowiak, Maintenance Supervisor at 920-639- 1336. he City of De Pere reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bidding and to accept any proposal which the Common Council deems most favorable to the interest of the City of De Pere. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
