The scope of work for this improvement includes the mobilization, bonds and insurance; demolition of the existing 350 kW generator, fuel tank, concrete slab, automatic transfer switch (ATS) and all associated conduit and wire; demolition of the existing portable generator canopy and foundation; demolition the of existing ductbank (removal of existing conductors); temporary relocation of the existing portable generator; construction of portable generator crushed rock foundation and driveway; construction of a proposed 450kW natural gas engine generator, generator concrete foundation, sunshade canopy, sound attenuating enclosure and generator sub-systems, automatic transfer switch, conduit and wire, new ductbank (conduit and conductors) routed from the generator to the ATS, grounding system; installation of new natural gas service including gas meter and gas piping; site restoration including seeding and replacement of all damages paving; stormwater pollution prevention plan; and all else as shown on the construction drawings and detailed in the specifications for a fully functioning water plant. furnishing all plant, labor, material and equipment and performing all work required for the construction of: First Colony Municipal Utility District No. 9 Water Plant No. 1 Generator Replacement. The project is located in First Colony Municipal Utility District No. 9, Fort Bend County, Texas, Water Plant No. 1, 4411 Ringrose Drive, Missouri City, Texas 77459. The disclosure of interested parties form shall be completed and included with the sealed bid at the time of the bid opening. The requirements of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, government Code, may apply to this Bid/Contract and the Contractor agrees that the Contract can be terminated if the Contractor knowingly or intentionally fails to comply with a requirement of that subchapter. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all irregularities. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of ninety (90) days from the date bids are open.
