No definite date for the rebid.** This Contract will consist of all necessary work to plug Well #10 in accordance with 10 CSR 23- 3.110 of the Missouri Well Construction Rules. Plugging work shall be performed by a well drilling or pump installation contractor permitted by the state of Missouri. Plugged wells must be registered with the state through submission of a completed Well Plugging Registration Record form to the Well Installation Section of the Missouri Geological Survey. Effective January 1, 2009 and pursuant to Missouri Revised Statute Section 285.530 (1), "No business entity or employer shall knowingly employ, hire for employment, or continue to employ an unauthorized alien to perform work within the state of Missouri." Bidders on the work will be required to comply with the State prevailing wage rates which will be included in the Contract Documents. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages specified shall be paid to all workers performing work under the Contract unless the total bid is less than $75,000. Bids shall be accompanied by Bidder's certified check, cashiers check or Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid Price. The City of Sullivan reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids received and to waive or not to waive any or all irregularities. By virtue of statutory authority, a preference will be given to materials, products, supplies, provisions and all other articles produced, manufactured, made or grown within the state of Missouri.
