The City of Surprise is accepting Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified firms to provide Construction Manager at Risk ("CMAR") services for City of Surprise Baseball Stadium Remodel ("Project"). The CMAR will work with the City's project team, made up of City staff and the design team to provide the pre-construction Services and complete construction services. The city intends to remodel Surprise Baseball Stadium facilities and construct new training facilities for the Texas Rangers and the Kansas City Royals. This remodel will include Major League Baseball mandates. The Baseball Stadium remodel consists of repurposing the existing space to add offices, workstations, conference rooms, locker rooms, storage, training rooms, and other team-related priorities. The project includes fan-based components around the stadium from the concourse to the outfields. The project will include progressive technology trends and systems to allow the City, the Texas Rangers and the Kansas City Royals to adapt to changing industry, fan-based experience, player, coaching and umpire requirements. Anticipated Contract Award: August 29, 2025 Contractor shall be required to furnish non-revocable security binding Contractor to provide faithful performance of the Contract in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total Contract price payable to the City of Surprise. Contractor shall be required to furnish non-revocable security for the protection of all persons supplying Goods and/or Services to Contractor or any subcontractor for the performance of any work related to the Contract. Payment security shall be in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total Contract price and be payable to the City of Surprise.
