Overall Final Completion (including completion of all punch list and closeout documents) - February 19, 2027 If the project, or any component that includes a required completion date is not complete for the use of that component by the milestone dates specified in Article 2.1 of this section and elsewhere in the Contract Documents, the Contractor shall pay the Owner the sum of $1,500 (One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars) per calendar day as liquidated damages, not as a penalty. For each calendar day until the work is completed. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond from a surety company licensed to do business in New Jersey, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the base bid submitted, but not more than $20,000.00, made payable to the Elmwood Park School District Board of Education.
