Renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility in Elmwood Park, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility.
The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in these Specifications and shown on the Plans. The estimated item quantities are summarized as follows: ITEM APPROXIMATE ESTIMATED QUANTITIES 1. Mobilization LS 2. Clearing Site LS 3. Sawcut Asphalt Pavement 250 LF 4. Concrete Block Wall LS 5. Concrete Block Buttresses LS 6. 37' x 69' Fabric Roof Salt Storage Structure (including structural steel framing system, wall louvers, overhead rolling door & personnel door) LS 7. HMA Driveway, 2" Thick (if and where directed) 400 SY 8. Excavation, Unclassified (if and where directed) 30 CY 9. Cleaning and Restorations LS 10. Electrical Work LS 11. Contract Closeout Documentation FP Bids must be made on the standard Proposal form in the manner designated therein and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Borough of Elmwood Park, and must be accompanied by Certified Check, Bid Bond or Cashier's Check drawn to the order of the Borough of Elmwood Park for ten percent ( 10%) of the total amount bid, provided said security need not be more than $20,000.00. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an approved surety company, licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey, agreeing to furnish the required Performance and Maintenance Bond upon the award of contract The right is reserved to reject any or all Proposals, in whole or in part, or to make awards to such bidder or bidders who, in the judgment of the Borough of Elmwood Park is the lowest responsible bidder and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law.
