Renovation of a military facility in Abilene, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 17,740-square-foot military facility.
The requirement is to coat the R-panel roof (approximately 17,740 sq ft) of the bowling alley at Building B7115, Dyess AFB, TX. The contractor shall: Properly prepare the existing R-panel roof by power washing, scraping, and cleaning to ensure proper adhesion of the new coating; apply an 80-mil seamless, aluminized polyurea spray-on roofing system to the roof according to the manufacturer's requirements; properly dispose of all waste off-base in compliance with regulations and provide the Government with an accounting of the waste weight; obtain approval for the contractor lay-down area; and use exterior methods for material transport to the roof. Any damage to the building or grounds must be repaired. The performance period for this project is 90 calendar days. The wood shake shingle areas are excluded from this scope. Evaluation of Offers: The evaluation for this acquisition will be solely based on the lowest price found technically acceptable. In accordance with FAR 36.204(d) Disclosure of Magnitude of Construction projects: between $270,000.00 and $500,000.00. 1. Cover page on Company letterhead (1 Page) 2. Volume I-Technical, completed RFP, proof of capability to obtain bonds. 3. Volume II - Pricing Breakdown. Pricing Breakdown must be filled out on the attached Pricing Schedule document. In order to be determined Technically acceptable, the Ven must clearly identify major milestones for the requirement. Restating or copying the statement of work will not meet this objective. Additionally, the vendor must meet all require outlined in the Statement of Work. Failure to meet any of the requirements outlined will result in a determination of technical unacceptability. The contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days and complete it within 90 calendar days *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Disclosure of Magnitude of Construction projects: between $270,000.00 and $500,000.00.
