The Contractor shall perform all items ofwork covered and stipulated in the Proposal and perform altered and extra work, all in accordance with the lines, grade, typical sections, and dimensions shown on the Plans and shall furnish, unless otherwise provided in the Special Provisions or in the Contract, all materials, implements, machinery, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation and labor necessary to the prosecution ofthe Work Question Deadline 07/28/2025 All Questions Must Be Submitted To The City Engineer Via Email No Less Than 96 Hours Prior To Bid Opening Date. The bids will be accompanied by a bid check or bid bond. Bid check must be a certified or cashiers check, in the amount often percent (10%) ofthe amount bid, made payable to the City of Fremont. Bid bond must be in the sum of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the bid and must be that of an approved surety company authorized to transact business in the State of Ohio and with local agent. Bond must meet the satisfaction of the City of Fremont Law Director. If the bid is rejected, the bid bond will be returned with notice. On bids accepted, the bond will be returned upon completion of a contract. A performance bond will be required to complete the contract. By submitting a bid, all interested parties agree to pay Prevailing Wages for all work performed on the project. The right is reserved, by the Safety Service Director of the City of Fremont, Ohio, to reject any or all bids, and to waive technical defects, irregularities and informalities as the interest of the City may require.
