SUMMARY. The project consists of providing and installing a community storm shelter as described and per the specifications at the location noted below: o Construct one (1) 10' x 48' community storm shelter at Bobo Volunteer Fire-Rescue located at 7982 Old Railroad Bed Road, Ardmore, AL 35739; Minimum occupancy: 87 persons for two (2) hours. o Construct one (1) 10' x 48' community storm shelter at Harvest Volunteer Fire-Rescue located at 9109 Wall Triana Hwy, Harvest, AL 35749; Minimum occupancy: 87 persons for two (2) hours. The Contractor shall be responsible for the following: o Installation of sidewalk, curb ramps, and foundation including preparation, formwork, concrete, finishing, demolition and removal or disposal of formwork, and all other items required to provide anADA accessible facility and foundation for each above ground structure. o Delivery and complete installation of pre-engineered, pre-manufactured structure. o Delivery and complete installation of emergency generator, including connection to fuel storage container (propane tank) and fuel supply line to generator. o Electrical service from meter base to proposed structure (meter base to be provided by owner). o Provide two (2) dehumidifiers (for each structure). o Provide and install all sanitary facilities required. o Grading and landscaping.
