Contract No. 1- Roof Replacement and Related Work All Rfis Must Be Submitted by Wednesday, August 6, 2025.. Wantagh Fire District Plans to Recover the Existing Roof With a New Tpo Roof at Station #2 Located at 844 Wantagh Ave in Levittown, Ny 11756. All Bids Must Be Accompanied by Either a) a Certified Check Payable to the Wantagh Fire District in the Amount of 5% of the Bid Price, or B) a Bond With Sufficient Sureties to Be Approved by the Wantagh Fire District in the Amount of 5% of the Bid Price. If the Bid is Accepted, the Bidder Will Enter Into a Contract in Accordance With the Bid and Will Furnish a Suitable Security Bond in the Sum of the Amount of the Contract, Conditioned for the Faithful and Prompt Completion of the Work Specified in the Contract. If the Bidder Neglects or Refuses to Execute the Contract and Furnish the Bonds, the Deposit of 5% of the Bid Price Shall Be Forfeited and Retained by the Wantagh Fire District as Liquidated Damages or, in the Case of a Bid Bond, the Wantagh Fire District Shall Enforce Payment of the Bond for Its Benefit.
