The City of Fort Stockton (the City) is requesting Proposals (RFP) for a qualified contractor to conduct repairs to Barracks Number One, Kitchen Number One, Barracks Number Two, Kitchen Number Two, & Officers' Quarters Number Eight. The RFP's will be evaluated by the City Manager of Fort Stockton and may include an interview of one or more teams. The team judged as the most qualified will be recommended to the City Council for award of repair and rehabilitation contract. PROJECT SCOPE: The scope will include the following: Barracks Number One _ Replace back storage room door, frame and casings with like model due to extreme deterioration. _ Make minor repairs to storage room door casing. _ Make repairs to both sides door trim work. _ Make repairs to window sashes. _ Scrape all doors, window frames, trims eaves and fascia. _ Clean up debris. _ Re-glaze all windows. _ Seal all seams along all window frames, trims eaves and fascia. _ Prime and paint all surfaces to closely match the existing finish. Kitchen Number One _ Scrape all doors, windows and casings. _ Clean up debris. _ Make minor repairs to deteriorated sills and casings. _ Seal all seams, prime and paint. Barracks Number Two _ Replace back storage room door, frame and casing with like model due to extreme deterioration. _ Replace North side door trim. _ Replace North side window sill and make repairs to window sash. _ Scrape all doors, window frames, trims eaves and fascia. _ Prime and paint all surfaces to closely match the existing finish. Kitchen Number Two _ Scrape all doors, windows and casings. _ Clean up debris. _ Make minor repairs to deteriorated sills and casings. _ Seal all seams, prime and paint. Officers' Quarters Number Eight _ Removal of protective glass casings over all windows. _ Scrape all exterior wood surfaces where paint is failing on all eaves, fascia, doors and casings, window and casings, columns and porches. _ Make repairs to or replace all woodwork that has deteriorated and cannot be saved. _ Clean up debris. _ Re-glaze all windows. _ Caulk all seams along windows, doors, casings, eaves, fascia etc. _ Prime and paint all surfaces to closely match the existing finish. _ Re-install all protective glass casings.
