(TBIAAI) invites qualified engineering firms to submit proposals for conducting a comprehensive Pavement Condition Index (PCI) survey and implementing a Pavement Management System (PMS) for the airside pavements at Thunder Bay International Airport (YQT). This initiative aims to assess pavement conditions accurately and establish a systematic approach to pavement maintenance and rehabilitation, in accordance with Transport Canada's guidelines. Data Collection Planning: Develop a detailed plan for conducting PCI surveys, ensuring minimal disruption to airport operations. PCI Surveys: Perform visual inspections of airside pavements following ASTM D5340 standards to determine current PCI values. PMS Implementation: Develop and implement a PMS tailored to YQT's specific needs, incorporating collected data to inform maintenance and rehabilitation strategies. Reporting: Provide comprehensive reports detailing findings, analysis, and recommendations for pavement maintenance and rehabilitation.
