Existing DPW meeting room, locker room, and bathroom building is to be gutted and renovated within the same existing footprint. New layout configuration is to be as per the Bid Set of drawings. This includes, but is not limited to, new walls, new doors and windows, new rough plumbing and plumbing fixtures, new rough electrical and electrical fixtures and devices, new kitchenette, new dropped ceiling and lighting, new lockers and furniture, new guards at the existing exterior ramp and stairs, and other items shown on the Bid Set. Each bid must be made upon the prescribed forms, furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications, accompanied by a Proposal Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond from a Surety/Bonding Company licensed and qualified to do business in the State of NJ, a Certified Check, or Cashier's Check in the amount of ten (10%) of the total amount bid, but not to exceed $20,000.00 to insure signing of the contract. Bidder shall submit with the bid a Certificate of Surety from a Surety Company licensed and qualified to do business in the State of New Jersey, pursuant to Federal and/or State law as a Surety, stating that it will provide the contractor with a Performance Bond of the total bid price. The Successful Contractor will be required to submit a Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond (refer to Instruction to Bidders).
