Renovation of a mixed-use development in Selma, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services as may be necessary to install a seamless composite roof system with fiberglass to approximately 42,095 square feet of existing roof surfaces, with a 40 year minimum warranty including walls at: Eric White Elementary School, 2001 Mitchell Ave, Selma, CA 93662; Indianola Elementary School, 11524 E Dinuba Ave, Selma, CA 93662; Andrew Jackson Elementary School, 2220 Huntsman Ave, Selma, CA 93662; and Heartland High School, 2269 Sylvia St, Selma, CA 93662.2 as follows 1. Pressure wash existing roof system and allow to dry. 2. Prepare a smooth, dry, clean surface. 3. Seal all corners of equipment curbs as per manufacturer's specifications. 4. Install new 24 gauge bonderized edge metal flashing along the perimeter of buildings per manufacturer specifications. 5. Install a seamless composite roof system with fiberglass utilizing material emulsion at a rate of 30 gallons per 100 sq ft roving at a rate of 16 lbs per 100 sq ft. Allow to cure. (Duct work to be included where needed.) 6. Install new 24-gauge skirt metal flashing at curbs as per manufacturer's specifications. 7. Install roof accessories: blocks and storm collars as per manufacturer specifications. 8. Install first pass of title 24 acrylic roof topcoat at a rate of 1.5 gallons per 100 sq ft. Allow to cure. 9. Install second pass of title 24 acrylic roof topcoat at a rate of 1.5 gallons per 100 sq ft. Allow to cure. 10. Remove roofing material and insulation (Heartland) which may be present. Install Polyiso Insulation, DensDeck (or equivalent), Weather Weld1B-16-30 system (or equivalent),, and Title 24 compliant reflective roof coating. 11. Minimum two-year warranty on all work provided by the contractor. 12. Replace gas lines and blocks for HVAC units. (Heartland) 13. Build up the middle of the roof for drainage. (Heartland) 14. Remove HVAC privacy walls. (Heartland) Flat Roofing Project at the following locations Andrew Jackson Elementary School, 2220 Huntsman Ave, Selma, CA 93662 Indianola Elementary School, 11524 E Dinuba Avenue, Selma, CA 93662 Eric White Elementary School, 2001 Mitchell Avenue, Selma, CA 93662 Heartland High School, 2269 Sylvia St, Selma, CA 93662 Flat Roofing Project The Contract Time shall be seventy-five (75) calendar days, and liquidated damages for delay shall accrue. The deadline for Completion is November 4, 2025. See Article III of the Agreement for details. Bids must be accompanied by a bidder s bond, cashier s check, or certified check for at least ten percent (10%) of the amount of the base bid and made payable to the Owner, as detailed in the Contract Documents. Pursuant to the Contract Documents, the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment (Labor and Material) Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum, and a Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum. This Contract is subject to prequalification pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20111.6. The Owner will not consider or accept any bids from contractors who are not licensed to do business in the State of California, in accordance with the California Public Contract Code, providing for the licensing of contractors. In accordance with Section 3300 of said Code, the bidder shall have a Class C39 license at the time of award and shall maintain that license in good standing through Completion of the Contract and all applicable warranty periods . The Owner reserves the right to add or deduct any of the additive or deductive items after the lowest responsible and responsive bidder is determined. The lowest bid shall be determined on the amount of the base bid.
