CONTRACT 125 consists of the replacement of approximately 27,360 linear feet of 12" ductile iron water line and 59 service changeovers, including all labor, materials, testing and disinfection and all necessary appurtenances to provide a complete line installation per the plans and specifications. This project is being supported with Treasury, Coronavirus State and Local Recovery Fund grant funding. Therefore, certain restrictions and other federal requirements attach to this opportunity. The allotted time for construction is 300 calendar days. A bid bond or certified check for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of his bid and shall, before entering on the work of said contract, be licensed as a contractor of the Lincoln County Board of Public Utilities. No bid may be withdrawn within 90 days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids thereof. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
