The San Bernardino County, Regional Parks Department (County) is seeking Proposals from interested and qualified Proposers to enter into a sublease for the development and operation of the recreational area within Prado Regional Park as described in Exhibit C. The San Bernardino County Regional Parks Department leases Prado Regional Park from the United States Army Corp of Engineers (USACE). Services to be provided under this Request for Proposals (RFP) are outlined under Section V, Scope of Work. The Contract period will be for a minimum of a five-year term but no longer than the term of the County's master lease with the USACE beginning upon the successful execution of a Sublease Agreement. An option to extend may also be included in the Sublease Agreement. Prado Regional Park is located in the city of Chino, CA which is home to approximately 93,114 residents. This park is loaded with outdoor recreation and adventure offering, fishing, camping, hiking, biking and nature trails, splash pad, disc golf and outstanding picnic facilities are just a sampling of what this park has to offer. The San Bernardino County (County) Board of Supervisors seeks to create a County in which those who reside and invest can prosper and achieve well-being. The County is located in Southern California and conveniently adjacent to Los Angeles County at its westerly perimeter and adjacent to Riverside and Orange Counties to its south. The ideal partner will be dedicated to providing high quality and innovative recreational entertainment services to both the local community and tourists. The right organization must also employ staff who are able to work in partnership with the Regional Parks department.
