Traffic Control: The Contractor will select the appropriate traffic control plan for the work in accordance with Part 6 of the current edition of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices and the Georgia Department of Transportation Standards, Specifications, and Special Provisions. The Contractor is responsible for observing and following any weight restricted bridge limits or limited access points throughout the various project locations. The Contractor will be responsible for furnishing, installing, maintaining and removing appropriate Advance Warning signs and temporary traffic control signs for the duration of the project. The Contractor will be responsible for providing, installing and maintaining all other necessary signs, traffic control devices, certified flagmen, materials, equipment and personnel necessary to complete the work. Permanent Striping, Thermoplastic Traffic Stripe: This work consists of furnishing and applying thermoplastic reflectorized pavement marking compound. Ensure that the markings conform to the details and locations specified, the specifications and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. Striping work includes all intersection connections to adjacent side streets from main roadway segment. The County will perform necessary clipping and/or brooming prior to installation of any striping.
