Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Jerome, Idaho. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
This proposal is for the contractor to remove the existing single span bridge and replace it with a single span pre-stressed concrete voided slab bridge with reinforced concrete abutments on spread footings. The road will be closed during construction and traffic will be detoured. Additional work includes roadway approach construction and permitted canal alterations. Site Directions: The Jerome HD bridge is located at the 500 North Crossing of the U' Canal is located approx.. 4 miles north of Jerome where 500 North crosses the U' Canal. The Shoshone HD bridge is located approx. 3 miles west of SH-75 where 250 West Road crosses the N/ Gooding Canal. Bridge bundle of two removal and replacements.
