Statements of Qualifications from qualified professional engineering firms interested in providing services for planning and design consultation for various city infrastructure projects to include, but not limited to, water system, roadway, traffic, intersection, pedestrian, street lighting, safety, ROW acquisition, land surveying, and drainage, and wastewater conveyance and treatment. Qualified firms will be placed on a Professional Engineering Services Roster . Selection from the roster for specific projects will follow the selection process outlined herein based as they relate to the components of each project. Projects : Current and upcoming City and Jerome Urban Renewal Agency (JURA) projects include the following: . S. Lincoln & Yakima Intersection and roadway reconstruct asphalt and/or concrete, and intersection analysis and design including a traffic signal . N. Lincoln Ave - 4 th Ave. to 16 th Ave. - roadway, drainage & sidewalks, . Wastewater Treatment - membrane bioreactor (MBR) treatment expansion/upgrade, UV treatment, miscellaneous treatment upgrades . Wastewater Conveyance - Lift station analysis and upgrade design, sewer force main design, gravity sewer design . Other JURA and City Transportation Master Plan projects. Selection Process : The City will utilize a Qualification Based Selection process based on the criteria system below. The City's consultant selection committee will make recommendations to the City Council, which will award the work. Contract negotiations will proceed with the firm receiving the City Council award. Respondents will be evaluated according to the following: . Firm introduction including name, location of office(s), age, and size. . Qualifications of project team. Identify the project manager and include firm's organizational chart. Resumes and a brief biography of key members should also be included. . Related project experience. Include description of services provided, name of client, current contact information, and a list of project team members who worked on each project. . Availability of key personnel to work on the projects as they occur. . Firm must be capable of providing at least $1,000,000 in errors and omissions insurance. The description "Professional Engineering Design Consultation SOQ" must appear in the subject line. . The name of each firm submitting their qualifications will be recorded by the City. . Limit Statement of Qualifications to twenty-five (25) pages, exclusive of covers, dividers, and resumes The City may reject any and all Statements of Qualifications. The City may waive any informality or technicality in any submittal received, if the City believes it would serve the best interest of the City.
