Site work and paving for a civil project in Medina, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

Said improvement will involve the abandonment/replacement of an existing 8" water main, removal/replacement of existing culverts including the installation of a 5' x 3' concrete box culvert with concrete footers & full height wingwall. Ditch enclosures, catch basins, excavation/ embankment, full depth pavement removal and other subgrade preparations and asphalt pavement as detailed in the plans for the road realignment will also be included. There shall be two phases to complete this project. Each bidder shall be required to file a bid guaranty with the bid in the form of either: (1) a Bid/Performance Bond in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the amount bid; or (2) a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Letter of Credit shall equal to 10% of the amount bid, conditioned that the bidder shall, if their bid is accepted, execute a contract in conformity with the bid, plans, details, specifications and bills of material. A Letter of Credit shall be revocable only at the option of the County. Phase one shall include all water main and culvert construction, and the roadway shall be closed for a maximum of 45 calendar days. The completion date for phase one shall be November 28th, 2025. Phase two shall include all excavation/embankment and paving construction for the realignment and the roadway shall be closed for a maximum of 45 calendar days. The completion date for phase two shall be June 26th, 2026. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contract compliance with the Equal Opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and the Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Contractors and Subcontractors must comply with the prevailing wage rates requirements detailed in the Bid Documents. The bid will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder.
