A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified vendors to provide all labor, equipment and materials for the Hurricane Shoals Road at Dyer Elementary Pedestrian Improvement Project for the Department of Transportation. Bids should be typed or submitted in ink and returned in a sealed container marked on the outside with the BL# and Company Name. This is a Pedestrian Improvement project/contract consisting of 0.946 miles of clearing & grubbing, grading, sidewalk, curb & gutter, traffic signal installation, striping and water service connection. Earthwork Less than 5,000 CY Curb & Gutter 5,070 LF Concrete Flat Work 3,942 SY Storm Drain Pipe 2,312 LF Questions regarding bids should be directed to Michael Milstein, Purchasing Associate II at Michael.milstein@gwinnettcounty.com or by calling 770-822-7811 no later than July 22, 2025. All vendors must submit with bid, a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. Failure to submit a bid bond with the proper rating will result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. Successful vendors will be required to meet insurance requirements, submit a one hundred percent (100%) performance bond and a one hundred ten percent (110%) payment bond.
