Drowning Creek Rd at Drowning Creek Design Build Bridge Replacement Project The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified vendors to provide all labor, equipment and materials for the Drowning Creek Rd at Drowning Creek Design Build Bridge Replacement Project for the Department of Transportation. This is a Design-Build Bridge Replacement project/contract consists of a bridge replacement on Drowning Creek Road at Drowning Creek, approximately 200' north of Whitley Road in Gwinnett County, Georgia. The 0.235 miles project consists of a bridge replacement to be constructed within the existing right of way, matching as closely as practical to the existing profile of Drowning Creek Road. The new bridge width shall accommodate two 11 ft travel lanes, one in each direction with a 3 ft shoulder on the east side of the bridge and a 3 ft shoulder on the west side.
