The City is seeking proposals from qualified Proponents to provide all supplies and work required to remove and replace the existing Brine Pump and Header. The City of Dryden is looking for competent licensed commercial refrigeration contractors to supply and install a new 15hp Brine Pump and upgrade the suction header at the Dryden Recreation Complex. The scope of work for this RFP will include, but is not limited, to: o Pump down system. Lockout/Tagout the system and removed brine as necessary o Remove existing piping to chiller and steel flange on suction side of the pump o Remove existing brine pump o Supply and install a new 15hp Armstrong pump and motor assembly o Supply all new flanges, fittings and Schedule 80 PVC to Chiller inlet and existing suction flange o Supply and install two (2x) new butterfly valves o Supply and install two (2x) new charging valves for suction and discharge o Supply and install pressure gauge with isolation on volute of pump o Supply all new material to upsize existing header o 8" Schedule 80 PVC o Remove all suction pipe back to the steel pipe off chiller o Weld new 8" steel flange o Run all new 8" Schedule 80 PVC to pump 1 and pump 3 o Reduce to 6" at pump 2 o Included all new valves and hardware o Install previously removed brine, top up as needed o Commission pump and remove all air possible Question Deadline 07/16/2025 All questions must be sent via email to the Procurement Representative.
