The Work for Which the Bids Are Asked Includes the Following: The Work Under This Contract Shall Consist of Pulverization, Base Aggregate Dense 1 ¼-inch, Asphaltic Surface and Any Incidental Items Necessary to Complete the Work as Included in the Proposal and Contract. Bidders Shall Submit Bids in a Separate Sealed Opaque Envelope for the Contract Addressed to the Town of Cassville; 2024 Town Road Improvement Project; 215 Desmoines St.; Cassville, Wi 53806 and Incorporate the Name and Address of the Bidder on the Outside of the Envelope. No Bid Shall Be Considered Unless Accompanied by The Proposal Agreement Fully Executed by the Bidder. The Bidder That is Awarded the Contract Agrees to Execute the Contract Agreement and Payment and Performance Bond Within Ten (10) Days After the Notice of Award, Begin Work No Later Than Ten (10) Days After Written Notice to Proceed, and Complete All Work Included Under the Terms of the Contract in the Allotted Time. All Bids Must Be Accompanied by Bid Security in the Amount of 5% of the Maximum Bid Amount Payable to The Owner. Bid and Bid Security May Not Be Withdrawn for a Period of 15 Days After the Bid Deadline. Bid Security Will Be Retained if the Bidder is Awarded the Work and Fails to Execute the Agreement and Furnish Performance and Payment Bonds. The Town of Cassville Reserves the Right to Waive Any Informalities and to Reject Any or All Bids. The Letting of The Work Described Herein is Subject to the Provisions of Sections 66.29, and 66.293, Wisconsin Statutes.
