Renovation of a parking garage in Fresno, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
This Design-Build project consists of parking automation upgrades to 5 existing City of Fresno parking structures. The 5 structures are located in Downtown Fresno within a several block radius of each other. This is a public works & prevailing wage project. Additionally, the project is subject to a Community Workforce Agreement - all labor is required to be Union. Included in Scope: - Addition of Fiber to each location to operate the new equipment - Parking automation addition to change to a gateless system using License Plate Recognition (LPR) and Pay on Foot (POF) stations - Video Surveillance We are currently in design phase with the 30% SDs being approved a few weeks ago. We are now moving directly to 80% DDs to be completed around the end of July. GMP is to be based on 80% DDs. We're looking for budget number input from subcontractors to help with City receive budget approval on construction. Invites for GMP will be sent out again for verification after 80% DDs are approved.
