Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Portage, Michigan. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Installation of an outdoor gym; relocation of swings next to playground; removal of sidewalk bisecting parking area; move Gazebo onto a new concrete pad and addition of a new roof; add tree barrier off parking lot; and relocate benches to face the trail instead of facing railroad tracks. Outdoor Gym to be used as a health oriented facility and social gathering place. Fitness programming would also be implemented as part of the gym. Outdoor gyms are growing quickly in popularity as social gathering places and as part of a fitness/warm-up program with riding or walking the trails.
