As of 8/4/25 all bids rejected. A timeline for the rebid has not yet been established. The Housing Authority and Urban Redevelopment Agency of the City of Atlantic City ("Housing Authority") is inviting bids for Tamper Resistant Window & Door Security Coverings All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount specified in the Invitation for Bids and a consent of surety to a 100% Performance and Payment Bond. Davis-Bacon prevailing wages shall apply to this project. The prevailing wage determinations for Atlantic County, which are in effect at the time of contract award, shall control. All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, labeled "Tamper Resistant Window & Door Security Coverings IFB 25-11" and including the bidder's company name and return address. The envelope must contain a printed copy of the entire bid and a flash drive containing a PDF copy of the entire bid. Bidders must ensure that their bid is received at the address and by the deadline specified above. Bids received after the deadline for any reason shall not be considered and will be returned to the sender. All bids submitted are subject to these instructions and to the Instructions to Bidders for Contracts, form HUD5369. The failure to abide by these instructions in any way, including but not limited to the failure to submit all required documentation, may lead to the bid being rejected as nonresponsive. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or to waive any informality in the bids. No bids may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the submission deadline. The contract shall be awarded to the bidder who submits the lowest responsible and responsive bid. The Housing Authority reserves the right to award a contract for some or all of the buildings identified. The Housing Authority further reserves the right to award contracts on a per-building basis. The successful bidder(s) will be required to execute the Housing Authority's contract and obtain a 100% Performance and Payment Bond from an acceptable Surety within seven (7) days of receiving the notice of award.
