Renovation and addition to a transportation facility in Mississauga, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility; and for the addition of a 234,028-square-foot, two-story above grade transportation facility.
Pearson LIFT: Terminal 1/3 Revitalization. Terminal 1 scope to include: expansion to Pier D (4,035 sq m), Hammerhead E (4,464 sq m), and Hammerhead F (11,113 sq m), passenger processing capacity upgrades; commercial, gate lounge, and amenity upgrades; building envelope and architectural restoration; building systems restoration; and upgrades to the baggage handling system. Terminal 3 scope includes: expansion to Levels 1 and 2 (2,130 sq m); passenger processing capacity upgrades; commercial, gate lounge, and amenities upgrades; building envelope & architectural restoration; and building systems restoration. Scope of work will also include upgrades to the Terminal 1, 2 and Viscount parking garages and to the central utilities plant. TIMELINE: Request for Qualifications for architectural services has closed; whether or not an award has been made is unavailable. Further update may be confirmed spring 2026. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
